My scoot is a 1994 Fat Boy (Fat Boy, you say), yes Fat Boy.... The guys who built it (Dick Farmers' HD, Orlando, FL) chucked the tank and fenders for Heritage stuff... The paint was Harley custom; It's now a Biker's Dream Custom paint job. Everything that should be chromed is; the controls, the wheels, most of the bolts, the forks... just get your sunglasses!! When I got it; bags, windshield, sissy-bar etc. covered this beautiful machine. My garage overflowed with tasteless pieces (A guy from Alaska Saw this page and bought it ALL)!!
Now for the good stuff.... That's an S&S Super E Carb. It had a Screaming Eagle Cam (Now an Andrews EV46), Dyna2000 single fire ignition with 2, 35,000 volt coils (stuffed under the stock coil cover...real clean), and the pipes are from MAC (only time I saw them on another bike was at the chopper show in Daytona). Just recently I had some head work done, what a difference. The motor breaths great and I like to twist the throttle. Not many stockers can run with it! For security I have an automotive alarm system with ignition cutout and motion sensor; Man is it loud without the siren under a hood!!! I tucked it into the tool case on the left side; you'd never see it except for the blinking light on the dash.
This vehicle represents twenty years of waiting and work.... It's my first Harley, though I probably have 50,000 miles riding next to them... In case you're wondering, I turn the wrenches on this baby; It's not just a Yuppy toy. I've got 13,000 miles on it in 2 years. Just got back from a great 3,000 mile treck with a few buddy's...
